THE OPPORTUNITY

Inspira Health Network wanted to support a voluntary treatment community outreach program. The project involved converting an existing vacant Hospice Unit to a new Adult Medical Detoxification Unit. The new Detox Unit supports individuals and groups looking for treatment.

THE CHALLENGE

The project’s challenges stemmed from the updates and conversion of the vacated Hospice Unit. Plumbing, lighting, safety and security, and overall finishes were needed for the conversion.

THE PS&S SOLUTION

The Detox Unit is meant for individuals and groups. PS&S designed the converted space to facilitate socialization, privacy, and self-actualization. Foodservice is provided within the Unit along with family gathering space, and a group room for activities.
