Charles A. Clauser
Senior Architectural Advisor, Operations Support
Mr. Clauser is a Senior Advisor. He has over 54 years’ experience in the practice of architecture (now retired) with a concentration in the health care sector for over 30 years. His responsibilities included directing the project activities of the Studio, project organization and oversight, business development, client relationship, and consultant coordination.
Mr. Clauser currently serves as Lead on the company’s Advanced Air Mobility Task Force (AAM/TF). As a former commercial pilot and flight instructor, he has brought his aviation background experiences to the Task Force to help guide the company’s work in AAM development. He has written a comprehensive UAM Operations Manual for the company, has served on several AAM workshops, and is primarily responsible for industry engagement and staying abreast of AAM advancements.
He holds memberships in the Vertical Flight Society, the Experimental Aircraft Association, and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He had served on two of NASA’s Transformative Vertical Flight Working Groups, and has served on the Board of Directors of the American Helicopter Museum and Educational Center in West Chester PA.
Mr. Clauser was a Registered Architect (RA) in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is a past president of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), West Jersey Chapter. He acquired an Associate of Science degree from Spring Garden College and attended Drexel University Evening School of Architecture. He is a US Navy veteran.
In his past aviation background, he has flown over 25 different aircraft, including six military aircraft, and published magazine articles having flown the Bell AH-1C Cobra helicopter and the Grumman E-2C Hawkeye command and control aircraft. He has owned two single engine General Aviation aircraft. Lastly, he served as Air Boss at five consecutive weekend air shows for the Air Victory Museum at South Jersey Regional Airport in Medford, NJ (KVAY). Currently, he is assisting with the reconstruction of a Rutan Long EZ composite aircraft.
