Our History:

PS&S is an award-winning "one-stop shop” of architecture and engineering excellence, which was established in 1962. The depth and breadth of our expertise has helped PS&S grow into a firm offering multi-disciplined, full-service architecture, engineering, design, environmental and surveying consulting services.

We offer a single source for planning, design and regulatory compliance services on diverse projects across a number of market segments: education, energy/utilities, hospitality/entertainment, infrastructure/public improvement, real estate and science/technology. Our ability to present virtually all engineering disciplines side by side with our architectural services allows us to respond quickly and efficiently to clients’ unique needs.

Having proudly served a sophisticated client base operating in numerous industries, we know the importance of developing the most on-time, cost-effective and high-quality solutions to the most difficult client challenges. Our success is measured by the success of our clients; the success of each project is our number one priority.

Headquartered in Warren, New Jersey, PS&S is well-positioned to meet client needs through a series of regional offices and affiliates.  In addition to our New Jersey offices in Cherry Hill, Cinnaminson, and Wall, we also maintain regional offices in New York City, Yonkers, and Woodbury, New York, Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and Raleigh, North Carolina.

We may be 60 years old, but there is always something new happening at PS&S. You may have noticed new colors and a new look as we have just launched a re-branding of our company. This was no simple task, and we took great care and thought as our re-brand exemplifies our path forward. Throughout it all we were designing and building out our new corporate headquarters, so we took that opportunity to look inward to create a brand that embodies the mission, vision and values of our company. Our employees are our most important asset, and it was important that we emphasize the work they do as the foundation for our new look.

At PS&S we constantly evaluate ourselves on our managerial expertise, technical excellence and our business development acumen. Those three pillars of excellence are the building blocks we used for the design of our new headquarters and logo. We also wanted to incorporate the integration of DW Smith into our new brand. As we added new services and markets, we wanted to highlight the synergies between PS&S and DW Smith.

We took it upon ourselves and used our skills as engineers and architects to help come up with a solution for the new brand. We tackled the issue in the same way we work with clients---by solving a problem in a systematic way to reach our goal. Of course, in everything we do we focus on our work for our clients. That was an underlying principle we brought into our new workspace and logo, and helps guide all of us every day.

Jesper Ryberg and I recently spoke with Linda Lindner of NJ Biz about the evolution of our new brand. You can read the article here which describes how the ‘blueprint’ guided us along the journey. I invite you to visit our new headquarters or any of our offices where you will see this blueprint prominently displayed on our walls. The blueprint reminds us of our past and gives us a glimpse of a bright future ahead providing superior service to our clients.
