THE OPPORTUNITY

Genworth, one of the nation's leaders in Assisted Living for over 145 years, wanted to redevelop an existing office building located in Montvale, NJ, into an assisted living facility.

THE CHALLENGE

The site previously being an office building meant space inside was set up for office flow and organization. Developing a space program and overall site plan to accommodate the needs of an assisted living facility requires creative thinking and smart use of space.

THE PS&S SOLUTION

PS&S developed a Space Program and Site Plan concept design to include a total of 280 units within the existing office building. The total area is 154,354 SF, or 51,451 SF/floor (3 floors).
