PS&S provided Architectural Design, site civil engineering services and construction oversight of the rehabilitation of a 3 story multi-family housing building in Asbury Park, NJ. The existing building contained 42 units, a laundry room, and mechanical spaces. The project consisted of providing new fixtures, equipment, and finishes for the units, corridors, laundry, and mechanical spaces. Due to the age of the facility, none of the units were handicap accessible and PS&S converted 3 of the units to full accessibility, to serve residents in need of such units. In addition, the ground floor was redesigned to provide for a new accessible main entrance along with a resident manager’s office and mail area. New mechanical systems and fire alarm systems were provided for the building, along with roofing, solar panels, parking areas and landscaping upgrades around the property.
