Jason Schooling, PE, PP, ENV SP, CFM

Lead Engineer and Planner, Site Civil Engineering & Landscape Architecture

Mr. Schooling joined PS&S’ Civil Engineering Department in 2014 as a Staff Designer and has 17 years of experience in various phases of site civil design. He is responsible for design work related to all aspects of site development, including due diligence, feasibility, conceptual design, CAD design, hydrologic and hydraulic design calculations, preparation of preliminary and final site plans for commercial and residential uses, cost estimates, and municipal floodplain management and FEMA consultation.

Mr. Schooling has comprehensive knowledge with regards to regulatory permitting including NJDEP, County and Municipal rules and regulations, has performed expert presentations across the state on stormwater and environmental permitting regulations and has provided engineering and planning testimony at municipal planning and zoning boards.  Mr. Schooling also has experience with various engineering design software such as Haestad’s StormCAD and Flowmaster, Bentley’s PondPack, HEC-Ras, Hydraflow Hydrographs, AutoCAD Civil 3D and LandDesktop and Microstation.

Mr. Schooling is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New Jersey, New York, and Delaware as well as a licensed Professional Planner (PP) in New Jersey. He is also a licensed Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) and a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM). Mr. Schooling acquired a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
