Title V Air Permitting

Kean University’s Title V Operating Permit includes several other emergency generators and boilers, as well as a cogeneration combustion turbine and gasoline storage tanks. Preparation of the Operating Permit modification application for the new emergency generators included documenting changes to the facility since the issuance of the initial Operating Permit, and including emission increases in the netting analysis. The new generators are also subject to NSPS Subpart IIII certification and fuel requirements for new stationary compression ignition engines, and N.J.A.C. 7:27-19 recordkeeping requirements for emergency generators.

Compliance Assistance

PS&S also provided a recordkeeping spreadsheet for use by Kean University to document compliance with the recordkeeping requirements of N.J.A.C. 7:27-19.
