Lori Kapferer, PE
Senior Project Engineer, Site Civil Engineering & Landscape Architecture
Ms. Kapferer has nearly 20 years of regulatory, design, and management experience from her work on a variety of civil engineering projects including floodplain standards compliance, stormwater design, environmental permitting, municipal consulting, and construction management for public agencies. She has performed the following design tasks stormwater management, erosion and sedimentation control, utility design and layout, culvert sizing, ADA ramps, parks layout and site grading. Ms. Kapferer served as a consulting engineer for several municipalities in Pennsylvania, where she worked with clients to find solutions to floodplain and stormwater issues and comply with permit requirements.
More recently, she performed construction inspection and administration on a significant bridge replacement project in northern New Jersey, ensuring that the construction adhered to contract documents and met state and federal funding requirements and she completed the preliminary engineering hydrologic and hydraulic analysis in support of a significant transportation project in southern New Jersey.
Ms. Kapferer is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She acquired a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University. Ms. Kapferer joined the PS&S Team in 2022.
