The American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey (ACECNJ) recognized PS&S with its Distinguished Award in Engineering Excellence at its 47th Engineering Excellence Awards Banquet. The honor was awarded for PS&S's work providing design and engineering services for the renovation and addition to building B9 at Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Hopewell, NJ campus. The project consisted of 40,000sf of renovations and a 13,000sf addition to an existing R&D laboratory building. Along with architecture and mechanical, electrical, and piping design, PS&S also provided the geotechnical reporting and the structural engineering.
The project is an example of architectural and engineering design that is “inspired by the science."
