At this week’s Association of Environmental Authorities Utility Management Conference, the Musconetcong Sewerage Authority was honored with a Best Management Practices Wave Award for recent work at their Water Pollution Control facility in Budd Lake, New Jersey.
Led by Jim Wancho, Carroll Oliva and Rich Crane, our Water Resources Team provided planning, design and construction phase services assisting the Musconetcong Sewerage Authority in the implementation of the facility improvements. Through the efforts of the project team, new Influent Screening and Tertiary Filter facilities were constructed. The Authority also purchased and installed a total of nineteen (19) primary and secondary scum and sludge pumps for replacement of existing pumps.
The Wave Award program recognizes excellence in the public water/wastewater/solid waste/recycling sector in New Jersey. The Best Management Practices Wave Award is presented to an authority/municipality that has implemented a process or program that addressed a need and resulted in measurable improvement in personnel management, consumables and inventory management, technical systems, facility operations and maintenance, performance measurement, security measures, customer service or energy.
